Green Heat Uganda Ltd

Green Heat is W2E's primary collaborator. This for-profit Ugandan business is the premier biogas installation company in the region. Green Heat offers professional anaerobic digester design and construction services, as well as newly launched consumer product line of sustainable briquettes. The company has installed over 110 biogas systems throughout Uganda. By partnering with a private-sector, for-profit company, W2E ensures that our innovative research enjoys a clear path for rapid commercialization and scaling.


The Center for Research in Energy and Energy Conservation

Located on Makerere University campus in Kampala, CREEC specializes in research and training on a variety of renewable energy technologies in close collaboration with the College of Engineering, Design, Art, and Technology (CEDAT). W2E draws upon the research expertise and talented students and faculty members associated with CREEC.
